Got that right..
Initially the pulley bolt was fixed. It was only then that the dealer realized that the engine had blown. After trying unsucessfully for 2 weeks to find an engine, GM realized that the 4 weeks was going to elapse before the car was fixed. Only then did they offer to either buy the car back or get me another Corvette.
The paperwork has taken an additional 5 weeks to complete.
And all the while of course I have been paying the insurance and the note for the car.
Next week, 9 weeks after the pulley bolt failed, I will finally be out of the car.
