My nephew decided that he would put my Z51 emblems on my C6 while I was not home. Nice thought, but really not a good idea. Emblems are not on straight. Anyone know how to remove them without hurting the paint?

Use a hair dryer to heat them. Don't get too close though. The heat will losen the adhesive.

After you heat them up, use dental floss to separate from the car.

Whatever residue is left over, just use a bug and tar remover and you should be fine.

I used dental floss to de badge my old car. I use it like a saw behind the adhesive. Then I used goof off .

I agree. Badges or emblems that didn't come on the cars from BG don't belong on them.

WD 40 will also work fine to remove the residue. I was looking for the Z51 emblems and Michael said he can no longer sell them. Can someone tell me where I can purchase them now?
