I TRULY DO APPRECIATE EVERYONE'S SARCASTICE REMARKS. THEY WERE QUIT INTERESTING.

Looking back at the C5 the 3rd model year (99) is for many the sweet spot in the C5 line up. The 99 had the two newest C5 features the 97 and 98 didn't have (AH and HUD) and it seems to be the point where most of the teething bugs have been worked out, I exclude all the little things GM was never able to fix over the years like the steering column lock, erratic fuel gauge, rocking seat etc
So will the 3rd model year of the C6 have some new must have option the 05/06 doesn't. Who knows. GM isn't in the habit of publishing a schedule of when they intend on adding/deleting options. But there were many happy 97/98 owners that while they would have liked these two new options, they still enjoyed their cars none the less.

I'm not sure if this thread is serious or not. Why would anyone realistically have 2007 info? Even if they did, I'm pretty sure it would be somewhat confidential so it's not like it would get out this early anyway.

Property taxes and new C6
My property taxes went up so much after they did the 4 year appraisal they I may have to wait for my C6 till 2007. I don't want to wait. I just want to make sure I can afford one. This is a big settback for me.

It is simply amazing to me that all of you could get it so wrong. 
In fact, no changes are planned in the engine/drivetrain until 2008 at which time the matter/antimatter drive (under development as we speak at the NASA/Aims research center) comes online. Driver interface will utilize though-trode technology for all vehicle functions.
