Service Fuel System
I got the dreaded DIC message to service my fuel system. I've got 5500 miles on the car and have used Chevron or Shell high test exclusively. I usually keep some Chevron fuel injector cleaner with Techron around so I poured a bottle into my tank and haven't seen the message since. Is there a chance that I won't have to take my car in to a dealer? I dread the day that I have to go into one of those places. I'm still having night mares from the 70's trying to get those Vegas repaired!! Say it ain't so--e
Welcome to the club.I got it @ 1800mi.Dealer fixed it in 3 days.It came back on half way through next tank.Back to dealer, asap.Hope the techron works for you.

...ditto here at 8,000km, also the service traction control comes on... now what?
Have it fixed with the new part. It is not a fuel issue but a defective part. Mine would come and go until the new part was available. It was replaced and have not had the problem since.

Well, that worked for my Suburban, and it's been a year now without the problem returning.
