Are there any differences on the 2005 and 2006 Corvette? I have tried looking on the net for info on the 2006, but all I can find info on is the Z06. Does anyone know where I can find some info on the regular 2006 Corvette? Thanks
The only change that I have seen thus far is a 3 spoke steering wheel and a few tweeks to the nav stereo system. Plus a few new colors that are already on late 2005 models, Velocity yellow & a new red color.

Yes that and one other minor change, what was it again...oh yeah, just a WHOLE BRAND NEW AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION! LOL.
Don't forget the bitchin' "GM" badge in front of the rear wheels.
You mean the little GM button? The one you have to be on your hands and knees to read? That just screams subtle identifier to distinguish each model year.
does anybody know if there are going to be any hp differences in the 2005 and the 2006 or will the 2006 also be 400hp? not on the though z06 of course. that's a little out of my price range. thanks!

You'll be thanking the greedy dealers for that one. I want to see the first person post a Bill of Sale = to MSRP
Automatic Corvette? Do they make those? Why would you give up your God given American right to shift your Corvette?
Any number of reasons that you wouldn't understand. First there are drivers who have handicaps and cannot use a clutch very well. Secondly, many of use the Vette as a daily driver and after shifting gears for an hour commute in the DC area, I feel like I just finished rowing in the olympics.
To each his own - if like the manual transmission, have at it, but many of us are very happy with auto, especially the new 6 speed with paddles. By the way, check the numbers as to which tranny is more popular
