I believe the official number is 6 qts but have seen many posts that have had 7 qts when the oil is changed. Put in 6, run the engine, let sit for a little, check, add as needed.

LS2 with filter is 5.5 qts. 5W30 Mobil1 (LS1 needed more and some still get it confused)

Why are so many Corvettes delivered without an owners manual?

I put 6 in mine and it was still only about halfway into the hatched area. I didn't add any more since it was in range anyway and I feared that the dipstick may be wrong and getting it to the full line might end up being too much oil.

Yeah, you'd think more owners would complain about not getting a manual.

They are all sent to Canada first, where they are burned by the Canadian Language Police, because they aren't printed in "French". I say "French" in quotes, because Canadian "French" is to French what the Yugo is to the concept of the sport touring sedan.

No Owners Manual, I would think that has to be the dealers fault? Has everyone checked in the secret little compartment in the trunk, that's where mine was, not in the glove box?

That would be "drain as needed".
