Just wanted to let you guys know that the 77 buck renewel is still working. I just recieved a call from XM saying my free trial would be up in 2 weeks. It routed me to a customer service person (who didnt sound like it was from India). I tolde her that I purchased a Corvette and GM had promised a 1 year rate of 77. She put me on hold for about 30 seconds and said that was OK. So I recommend trying to everyone else.
I called XM at 800-929-2100 last night to extend my expired 90 day service.
I told the agent that my dealer had given me promotion code "ZWINBACK".
He promply offered the $77 rate for 1 year (plus sales tax), took my credit card number, and re-activated service.
Quick and easy.
Did mine yesterday. When I mentioned ZWINBACK it was obvious the guy was looking something up on the computer - said OK - and no activation fee. Did it in 3 minutes.

I renewed before my 3 months was up. You can do it anytime. If it doesn't work the first time just call and talk to someone different. Don't forget to say that your dealer referred you to this deal and the code is ZWINBACK
Can I call prior to my 3 month expiring? I'm only about 1 month into the 3 months. Do they just extend it for 1 year on top of the 3 months.
Thanks.
Yes you can. I got the deal two weeks after delivery of the car using the promo code listed above. They added 12 months to the three month trial period for a total of 15 months for the $77.
