Credit my wife for this one.....front plate & bracket on my new C6 was UGLY. Dealer told me it was attached with adhesive only. Pulled on it slowly & it came off, but OH, OH....big gob of adhesive stuck to the nose of my baby. What to use...acetone, Bug & Tar Remover, razor blade? What will possiblly damage the finish? Wife says "let me at it"! Would you believe she used OLIVE OIL...and the adhesive came off with not a mark left!
She also used PEANUT BUTTER to remove some stains on the seats....something to do with the oil in the PB. Didn't post that one though...figured NO ONE would believe it, but it worked!
WD-40 or Goo-Be-Gone .... always easily available and great results. To remove other badges and dealer installed logo's just remember dental floss (folded over several times) or fishing line.
