I bought my LMB C6 Conv. in May and I have a few issues...Has anybody had similar problems and any fixes?
Water leak on driver side (near the clutch/dead pedal area, noticed during rain storm and washing car)
Check the wiring grommet going up through the firewall into the windshield wiper area. In some cars, this isn't fully seated and allows water to leak in and drip on your left foot.
A/C sometimes refuses to blow cold on startup (sometimes hitting Auto "wakes it up")
A bunch of people are having a similar problem. Do a search, there are solutions.
Driver door sometimes won't open...window goes down, but door does not unlock....mind of its own.
Lubricate the lock mechanism, in the door jam, not the door. The latch is simply sticking.
Yes, I noticed some water on the floor mat under the brake and clutch pedal. I have had it in the rain a few times but this time it eas parked on a slight incline. Was not sure if I put it there some how but now I know it was a leak. Have you taken it to the dealer yet? let me know what you find out.

My current C6 does this, my first one did not. It only is a problem until I get rolling (not sure if it's related to moving, or just the time). Once it gets cranked up, it continues to work fine. I don't know if this is related to the other problems that have been reported. If I remember correctly, most of what I have seen posted on this forum is more than just at start up.
BTW, the search function on this forum is virtually useless.
I have the same water leak, but only in a brushless car wash, when the water was flooding over the hood with the machine, never in normal rain. It's a few drips and then it stops. The grommet seal mentioned above sounds like the most plausible theory for the cause.

You do have to watch the guide rails though... some won't accommodate the low vette or low profile tires without scratching the wheels. Have to check it out with the manager *before* running through.

Avoid the guardrails and use a "hand car wash" business to clean your vette. Most vettes are hand-washed. It costs slightly more, but it's worth the investment.
