Default Digital Amp for sub

I've tried to upgrade the Bose system in my new C6 with a sub in the back. I'm using a 12 inch low profile Pioneer sub which is only 5 inches deep so it fits perfectly in the back with the top in place. However, the original configuration included the new line of JL Audio amp plugged into the back speakers. It sounded great but could not get any FM radio stations because it is classified as a D (digital) amp. Replaced it with and eclipse amp (non-digital) but did not give out the type of bass I was hoping for. The installers concluded that the rear speakers did not have full bass range because the stock subs are in the door panels. They want to plug the amp with some line doublers (base boost) into the speakers in the door panels so the amp and sub can amplify the true bass range. Does this make any sense to anyone? I'm hesitant on letting them crack into the door panels and breaking any original seals and this whole digital amp thing interfering with FM reception really bothers me. Does anyone have any advice for another solution?

That is the most ridiculous setup I've ever heard. Leave your door subs alone. Let your amp run your back sub by feeding off the BOSE amp wiring by splicing into the harness with an AudioControl LC6. Done. Let the BOSE amp run the house speakers. Why would you overdrive the doors & be left with mids & highs that can't keep up? And then put another sub in the back???

thanks for your reply Dallas Vette...maybe I'm explaining it wrong. they don't want to overide the door subs just hook up an amp to it instead of the rear speakers. I guess the rear speakers are not producing the trus lows like the door speakers.
