Default When do problems occur?

I took delivery of my C6 vert A4 only recently. I have been reading a good deal of posts about problems with dead batteries, A/C running warm, fuel guage sending units, electrical issues, power tops not working, etc. How many miles does it take for these things to start showing up? So far I am loving every minute of my car and have had no problems.....yet.

I had my first problem at 500 miles, another member had his pulley bolt fail at 14,000 miles. People started seeing A/C problems when summer began. The battery issue seems to be continuing, hitting early and late. There doesn't seem to be any predictable failure window.

You won't necessarily have any problems at all. Most C6 owners have not had any serious issues, so there's no reason you should expect to. No car is perfect, so it can happen but, IMHO, no more so than any other car.

There is no answer to this question. My fuel gauge just started acting up and my 03 Z was built Sept 02.

Good luck.

I had the dead battery problem and it was replaced with a more powerful one. The car would do strange things (like not reindexing the windows). I've pulled the #46 relay and not had one problem since.

Now the car has 14,000 miles and no further problems, yet.
