Would like to say what a great experience the "Museum Delivery Option" is. Picked up our Victory Red Vert with cashmere. Had a 2 1/2 hour tour of the plant on July 1st (the day before thier two week vacation) and everyone in the plant was real cool. The people at the museum treat you like gold (make sure you tip them!!). Then a 20 hour trip home with my 12 year old son, through backroads (no highways) of Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia then Pennsylvania.(No bra on car and not a single scratch.) To experience this with your child is priceless.
By the way the top was down the entire trip except for the sudden thunderstorm in Huntington WV at 10:30 pm. I couldn't figure out how to get the power top up for what seemed like forever, but was only maybe 30 seconds of drenching!!! (apply the parking break) Obviously I didn't spend any time figuring out the functions of the car before I hit the road!!! Once again I would recommend the delivery option to anyone! I Love this car man!!
Congratulations, Fast Eddie. It sounds like you had a great trip. We pick up our VR Coupe in 27 days. Are you serious about the tip? What's the going rate? Gee - I hope it's not 18%.
Congratulations on your museum pickup. I picked mine up June 20. I had Kelly Boca with my delivery. Was supurb. Oh yes mine was a VR Convertible cashemere interior with a beige top. Wife and I headed east to South Carolina then up thru Myrtle Beach. Headed back home to Iowa. All in all it was a great week for us no problems with the car either.
Except we had to keep the top up most of the trip. We had to much luggage for top down.
I noticed that you had pics of your car coming off the line. Do you get to see this with the museum delivery? I thought that they just had it ready for you at the museum.
Yeah the back roads of KY are great. what roads did you take? I picked up a VR about a month ago and headed east to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Good Times!!
We (NCM) are very glad that you all have had extremly positive experiences! It is the ONLY way to pick up your new Corvette!

We look forward to meeting you too!
There is no delay when picking NCM Delivery. In August or so call Gary Cockriel 800-538-3883 ext 124 and speak about it more with him. He will be able to answer all of your questions!
I picked up my first corvette in early May at the NCM.
The delivery was AWESOME and it really made the first vette a perfect experience. I've been meaning to post a write up but have been very busy getting married going on honeymoon moving.... I'm getting way behind on all the pictures. Soon I'll post some.
Great trip.
The NCM Delivery team was fantastic and I'll definately be buying my next vette that way.
By the way I'm completely in love with my C6! The s2000 was a fantastic car but I honestly don't miss it at all. Even at the track the car is great fun to drive.
congrats on the car!!! The next one we get, we'll get the museum delivery. What did your son think of the tour through the factory? Did they let him start a car for the first time?
