Hello all: I wanted to ask my fellow members if they have any type problem like this. Yesterday I washed my MY coupe. I have had it since March and I have 2k miles. I washed and was blowing it dry when I noticed a nick on the rear buper below the light. Damn my first nick! However, when I started to look closer I noticed several other small spots with no paint on the rear bumper. There is no way these are nicks. They are about the size of a small pen head and they are white. The only think I can figure is that the paint on the back is bad and debri is working its way out of the paint in the rear. There is no way that I did not notice this before. It is happening now.

Has anyone else had any problem like this?
Thanks for any insight.

I think I have seen other posts about a a problem like this. It seems that the aerodynamics of the C6 are such that lots of debris is sucked to the rear of the car which may cause the problem. If you drive on roads that have some gritty debris, this could cause the paint to chip. I know that when I was my car after a light rain, the rear of the car is much dirtier than the rest of car. Usually I can't tell that the car is dirty (MS) until I look at the rear. Then it's very obvious that the car is filthy dirty.

weird, I noticed yesterday after a light rain that the rear was the only dirty part of the car.
