Default C6 Getting Lower

I noticed my C6 Z51 with just shy of 1000 miles is getting lower. I use a 4X4 under the front tire as a parking stop. Lately the 4X4 is getting trapped under the front chin spoiler. Anyone else notice a slight compression in the suspension over time?

Yup. Also as the suspension "settles" you may need an alignment. GM may do it for free if you have between 500 and 7500 miles on the car.

Yeah I jacked it up at 300 miles to install the CAGS elim. and my jack went under the front dam with no problem. At 1100 miles I was jacking it to paint the calipers and it would not fit without bending back the dam. So I went with the jacking pucks. I was scratching my head thinking to myself "I know it fit before". LOL Now I know I am not losing my mind!

Been there, done that at 900 miles. Glad I did.

Actually...thinking about it some more, I had a lot of negative camber dialed in for autocrossing. Maybe it lowered the ride height just a hair.

It's completely natural to get a little bit of settling. I personally am not opposed to it. I've found that it handles ever so slightly better now.

Y'all may not be aware, but the average Corvette driver gains roughly 1lb of weight per month over the lifespan of the vehicle ownership.

Of course this is just BS, but at least it offers another possible explanation for the gradual sag......
