You can phone Allied at 1-888-227-4285 and ask them the status of your delivery. They'll ask you for the final 8 digits of your VIN. In most cases they'll either tell you:
Your car is not yet entered into our system (not yet released to Allied by the factory);
We have your car in our system but it's not yet been assigned to a load;
Your car has been assigned to a load; it's expected to leave on (date) and its ETA (at your dealer) is (date).
Obviously, the third choice is the one you're looking for. Times from build date to ship date vary widely. In most cases, cars are released to Allied within a day or two of the build date. Some cars, however, are randomly selected for what amounts to an extended quality assurance hold; this can delay things by two weeks or more.
I spoke to Angela about my car today. She was very helpful.
Yep, she kept me updated to where my car was during the 2 day trip from BG to Long Island and was right on target on time the car carrier would show up at my dealer.
It was nice dealing with someone who seemed to really car about her customers!
