Another A/C problem
anyway...
Got in it last night, leaving the girlfriend's house, fire it up, AC comes on feels a little warm, figured it was just me.....so being the nice balmy 90 degree Texas night it was, I dropped the top and thoroughly enjoyed the 20 mile ride home....all the while praying that I hadn't been hit with the dreaded AC problem.....
Well this morning, nothing but hot air....from the car and the first dealership I took it too...after waiting outside for 30 minutes for them to open, the service writer at the dealership closest to my house, informs me that sure he can get to it......AUGUST 16th...and would I like to make an appointment???? Pulled out the cell, called the dealer I purchased it from, never telling them that I bought the car from them, sure, bring it over, we'll get right on it. So I drove across town, they immediately took it inside, took care of me, offered me a ride to work, which I declined in favor of a rental, which they will take care of.....
Anyway, to the problem, the service writer called me and informed me that the system was dry, no freon at all.....but they could not find any leaks or any other problems and were baffled.....they preferred to keep it over night and would continue to test it until they are sure that there are no other problems.
So, here is hoping they find it. And here is a big thanks to Delton and Eunice at Munday for taking care of their customers......am happy so far, will wait and see what tomorrow brings.....good news I hope.
