C6 Radio Problem?

C6 Radio Problem?
Here is the scenario. Wife drives the car (yes, she periodically drives it, heck we both pay for it) with her FOB. Everytime I re-enter the car with my FOB the radio doesn't seem to work right away. After about 2-3 minutes it then powers on. Any one else had this problem or is it normal?

I've had this happen a few times, but can't seem to replicate it. It happened a few times and then never again. It might be related to not latching your seat belt before you start the car, having the radio on CD rather than FM, or having the other fob leave the car with the radio turned off. Those are the theories but, again, I haven't ben able to make it do it when I try.
I do have a fairly new radio which replaced my original unit due to the muting issue. Maybe it's a peculiarity with the newer head units... maybe the new radios go through a learning mode at times. It's weird.
