Road Trip
Just got back from a 5 day road trip in the new C6, rode just over 1300 mi. Averaged 24.8 mpg. the C6 ran flawlessly in the 97 deg. heat. Had a tour thru the Bowling Green facility there was a new Red Z06 sitting just as you enter the building B-E-A-U-TIFUL!!
Visted Nashville, Memphis, Huntsville, Had a good time and saw lots of attractions, but I think the thing I liked most was getting to know the C6. Lots of thumbs up from other drivers on the highway. The part I like least is going back to the salt mine tomorrow. Cant wait until retirement when crusing is all we have to do.

I'm in the process of writing a short story...
The dog, the violin, and the damn fast car...
The dog is my boxer, the "damn fast car" is of course a Vette, and y'all will have to wait to find out how the violin fits in.
On a practical note, remember the TV show Route 66 (Martin Milner)... Hey why can't we do our own Rt.66? Literally!
