Default Splash Guards by Altec

The Corvette Forum Store sells Splash Guards by Altec. I am interested as 7,700 miles of So. CA roads are taking a toll on my paint. Does anyone have pictures of these on their car that they could post?

Thanks!

I like them a lot. I noticed a big difference in reduction of dirt, etc. on the car.

Are these easily removed for shows and other events? They look as though they would be good on long trips.

Couldn't they blend them into the side a little more? That jutting out look is not good.

I asked them tha as well, but they are selling all to well to change anything. From the orders they recieved, they said they see no reason to change it right now. I myself have shipped over 25 of them.

You really must see them in person to appreciate them!

Mike, every time I see the tops jutting out and away from the wheel opening, I think of DEPRECIATION instead of appreciation, sorry.

Well for some, it helps protecting their quarters from nasty gashes, scratches, and more. So they do work.

I only have 2500 miles on my C6 so maybe it is too early, but I have yet to notice any unreasonable amount of dirt or any scratches yet. Is this one of those things that accumulates with miles, then you wake up one morning and wonder what happened to my car?

I guess it really depends wher you live. How are the roads? Are you wary about what you're kicking up?

Actually the roads in So. CA aren't too bad however as miles add up there is noticable pitting. Believe partially due to the sticky high performance Goodyear EMTs.

Since I changed to a Non-Runflat with a different tread design I noticed a lot less crap being flung onto the car,of course the ride is better also.

Sorry, the splash guards are not easily removed for car shows. You have to drill holes to mount them; and that necesitates taking off your wheels.
