Modified Mufflers?
Has anyone out there modified the existing mufflers? If so, how, and can it be done at home without welding? If it requires welding, can an experienced local muffler shop do it?
I ask because the exhausts out there are so damn expensive. Also, I really like the tone of the stock system, but I feel it could use a few more decibels (10, maybe).

There was a post a few month's ago about a member that cut his open several times and modified the stock mufflers. I don't remember the outcome but you can look back a few months and maybe find it. Good luck.
