Default power seat problems

Anyone having problems with power seats not adjusting?...My drivers side seat will adjust for one or two very brief movements after I get in on each start up sequence but will not adjust any more after that until the next startup sequence. When the seat will not move the power telescope for the steering wheel will not work either...
Any ideas???

Sounds like the service dept needs to check that out.

Since Vettes and XLRs are starting to share some things in common thought I would search the Cadillac forum. You may want to check out this thread and see if it helps:

Try disconnecting the battery for 1 min. If the memory module is locked up, this may solve the problem.

My steering wheel stopped working and had the same problem with the seat.

I found the two connectors drag when the seat goes back and forward. Try to flatten those out and tuck them in the carpet a little .... fixed mine.

Last night I fixed the steering wheel problem. Module is located on the bottom of the driver seat. Raise the seat and disconnect the two wire plugs and put them back. The one on the left side of mine was not all the way in ... fixed now.

I don't recommend disconnecting the battery. That will set all of the communication error codes and nothing more.

Default This is why they need to have a standard seat option

or a stripped Corvette version but not the 1SX still too much stuff on that.
