"If chicks dig it, do it"
By far the smartest purchase Ive made in 23 years of marriage. Iv'e not coached, pleaded or mentored the wife even once about how one must wash and wax to maintain the corvette image, but there she is washing and waxing the C6 prior to every showing (drive to the store). While I work the daily issues here in Iraq, she is wearing a huge smile behind the wheel of this years must have, all American muscle car.
She digs it and I'll never regret it.
PS, I'm trying to teach her the "onramp stomp".. You always should try to merge onto the freeway at a some what higher speed than existing traffic. Which is possible in most American made vehicles. With the C6, look out, Onramp stomp.. The approach feels like everyone on the highway is standing still.

Y'all watch out over there. I flew a combat tour in Vietnam (1972, F-4's off the USS Saratoga) and had nothing but admiration for the Army.
First thing I did when I got home was buy a Firebird Trans Am (455ci, stick, 12mpg, just in time for the first "oil crises").

Thanks a bunch to all of you and your threads. Since retiring from the Army in '01 I've been working in Colombia, Afghanistan and now Iraq. Here in Iraq we're just trying to get the basics set up, Water, Electricity. Sorry for misleading any of you as to my current "Former action guy" status.

Is it true that Rangers own the night? Did you ever notice you never here a word about the U.S. Army Rangers?? mmmm, the last was Tora Bora, the Tilly incident.. Where do those guys hide out, LOL
