Been there done that in 2004 with an SRT 10 VERT and I now appreciate my C6 even more. I hope you enjoy that torque monster and please be sure to follow two basic rules. First Only get on when the tires are HOT and Second only when your wheels a pointed straight ahead. Also consider driving school to avoid being one of the many who get that monster sideways early on in their ownership.The Viper is a great American car but for me the unpredictability was too much and I folded the deck. I had to acknowledge that my reaction times were not what they once were before becoming a statistic.

Steve Miller had his for all of 2 weeks before he traded it in on a F360. His wasn't even a daily driver! But, if you're looking for serious torque, take no prisoners, there it is! Have fun!

Beautiful car. 
The new issue of Automobile has an interesting article on lap times at the 'Ring. Seems that the new Z06 is faster around the track than every production car except the Porsche GT.
In fact, the standard C6 does real well in this same comparison.
I think the C6 is all about balanced performance.
