Then take off just how many thousands you think your dealer's gunna rip you off.
I'm sure you'd do better selling it on your own. Check out Vettehound.com. I'd bet you're looking at upper 40's.

Unfortunately, It isn't new anymore. It's a Used Car.
Consider all Fee's like Tax, Lic., Doc Fee's Money spent.
Then Knock off About 20% From Dealer Invoice & you're in the Ball Park.
There has to be an incentive for someone to buy a Used Car over a New Car. The dealer has to make a profit. Since there probably isn't a Book Value he has to make an educated gues as to what the Market will Bear. It always comes down to Money.

PS Eliminate the Middle Man & sell it yourself!

I would estimate if a 2005 cost $51K (MN6,1SB,Nav) before T&L, and it had say 5K miles you would get $40K ~ $42k trade in. There are some dealers selling close out 05's (New)starting at $42.9 base plus options. Regardless what you think yours is worth thats the facts. You can try to sell on your own but considering tax, paper work and hastle it's up to each individual. Good luck

I believe it's best to get out of the vette early while it has little miles. Lots of options means everything but nav and clear top. I'm shooting for 46or 45 selling or trading. My local dealership is not the best one to work on vettes so it's becoming a little bit of a headache for me.

just remember to add the tax savings in if you trade.....sometimes it is so close that it does not pay to sell and deal with all the hassles that goes with that

Trade In Value
Value of that vette is low 40's in a private sale scenario. Knock off another 15-20% for a trade in. The value may depend somewhat on what you are trading for.
