Burning Brakes
They look about as good as any flap might look on a C6, however I doubt if they offer complete protection as the flap does not extend down very far. After trying cleartastic, I am just going NAKED and will visit a body shop in a couple years for some touch up!

I'd really love to see some pics of the entire car, side view, and a rear/side view (with the color matched flaps on).
I'm personally not a huge fan of mudflaps, but as many owners have pointed out, the C6's fat tires tend to sandblast the paint, some type of "flap" might be useful here.

I too would rather not put mud flaps on any car but these only detract slightly from the look of the car. And they do protect the side paint. I really don't like body colored flaps. Rather than hide the flap they actually make them more conspicuous. If these black ones are almost hidden on a white car they would even be less noticeable on other colors. Go for black if you're gonna do it.

2020 C8 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
I have the mudflaps from Mid America on my Mag Red Convertible. The are small enough to not be noticed but still give some protection. I am happy with them.
