Light Conversion kit for C6?
Alot of people were complaining about the C6's lights, did they ever come out with a kit to convert the C6 lights to popups?

The hide away headlights were eliminated from the C6 design to do away with the poor aerodynamics when the lights are in use and the mechanism itself which is a potential failure point.
The new C6 headlights are a win-win change from the hide aways. With the way they are integrated into the body there would be nothing to gain by converting them into hide away headlights IMO.

I'm not sure what your source is, but I'd say that it's not very accurate.

The new ones are more aero dynamic and lighter than the pop ups. They also look awesome ,IMO . I don't think enough people who own a C6 would want flipups , so from a profit standpoint, I doubt any aftermarket will start making them anytime soon .

That's why they upgraded the braking system on the C6.
Since they no longer had those air brakes to aid in deceleration.

Humm, an upgrade that decreases performance, reduces lighting safety, and adds to the maintence and complication of the C6??? Count me in! NOT!

I never would have bought the C6 if it had the pop up lights...IMHO that would be the 2nd worst mod ever....right behind an aluminum 3 foot tall wing
