The problem is it keeps folding under, but I've never seen it happen.

It has happened to mine a number of times. I just fix it myself.

OK, so we all know this happens to many of us, but the question is what causes it. If you try to push it in yourself it very hard to make it happen so it takes some level of force. Is the window grabing it or what?

I wonder if a little Rainx would make the window slipperier so it slides instead of grabs.

Yes, I noticed this happening after the first couple of days that I owned the car, except that mine happened at the end of the strip by the door opening. I couldn't figure it out, then I caught myself closing the door by pushing the rubber seal, trying to keep my handprints off the paint, and I noticed that I was pushing it in! Now I close the door at the handle and have no more issues.

Don't know if that expains yours or not.

Same problem, MY vert, driver's side near the door handle.
I must have pulled it back into place 4-5 times in the last 2 months.
Ran the window up and down about 20 times last week to see if it would do it again, it didn"t.
Don't really know what to do about it

Me too, on each one I had. Perhaps the rubber is just not stiff enough!!

My first thought is I pressed it in during cleaning, my second thought is someone tried to stick something in the door to open it (like a slimjim). Neither was likely. Then I was at the beach with a few other C6's and guess what, one had three spots with exactly the same problem and did not fix them yet so we all could see and agree that is what we had also. A few others also said they had it happen also... WTF Is it aliens on Long Island or what

My guess is that as the window moves it might grab the weather strip and pull it back enough so it gets caught. The humidity is very high the last few weeks so that might be it.

Is everyone on this forum living on or from Long Island?lol

Yeah, I noticed it too but as with others, I'm sure, really didn't pay too much attention to it. But specifically look for it now, thanks.

You guys are too funny. 99.999% of the time it happens when you are closing the door by pushing on the rubber area. It happens a lot easier if your windows are open too.

Never touch that area when shutting the door always the door handle or the glass

Are you positive. I try not to close the door that way but i find myself doing it sometimes. It usually happens when i'm getting into my car and the windows are open, I'll reach for the top of the door to close it instead of the interior handle.

That's happens occasionally on mine. 4 or 5 times now. Although it pops out ok, it's a nuisancemthat reoccurs from time to time. I haven't found out why yet. If anyone does, let me know. Thanks.
