I believe breathless' yellow C6 has black painted headlight inserts. www.breathlessperformance.com

you can bet that if the car came from the factory with black on the headlights people would be asking how to paint it body color

just because they are sealed doesn't mean you can't unseal them. I did it on my last car with no problems and painted the chrome black, but my its not a concern since my new vette is black too.

another thought, since they are sealed, if you were to need collision repair, GM probably sells them color matched already. Just buy a set of black ones.

Here are a couple rabid racoons I wouldn't mind driving, you get the idea.. I know a silver c6 or z06 would look awesome, meaner, take away the grinning smiley face look... IMHO.
