I plan on swapping my stock front and rear calipers. A local powder coating shop is scheduled to paint my originals to factory red paint specs; anyone interested / 3000 miles on calipers.
Sorry for the confusion...I've ordered replacement calipers from dealer and will have them powder coated and installed so that I have no down time. I plan to then powder the originals and make them available.
The new calipers are approx. $780.00 plus $150 for coating; I need to cover my cost. I figured for speed and convenience someone might take these and do the same with theirs, covering their cost.

I might be off here (you could do a search and all), but replacement (non-oem) calipers in red are running about 400.00 or so...
Now for $250.00, you might get some takers.... I would perfer the 1-2 day downtime for $150.00 vs. almost a "G"....

If you don't mind the downtime, I powdercoat calipers for $125/set, including shipping. I've been doing mostly 350z calipers, but the vette will be the same price.

yes, it's a tough crowd in here. But all meant in fun. We've all gotten taken once or twice - it's how you learn. Welcome to the forum -- GREAT thing that you checked here first.
Personally, I did the $15 Duplicolor deal -- can't beat it.

corvette pilot: If you bought a couple of sets from the chevy dealer that could be used for exchange you might develop a good little side business.
So, you could send me the finished product and I would return mine to you in x number of days.
I actually do that with 350z brakes, but lots of people swapped to a big brake kit and used ones were fairly inexpensive. $780 is a steep startup for a side gig I do. Now if I find an inexpensive take off set, I will probably buy it.
