Navigation Update?

Navigation Update?
It's been almost a year now... Has anyone, especially our vendors, heard anything about an update for the nav map?

I inquired about this several months ago, since the new update was to include Hawaii. I was told that the updated disc would initially ship with 2006 cars and would be available shortly thereafter. My guess would be Oct - Nov timeframe, but knowing that GM takes forever to get this out. I am not holding my breath until early next year.

I just got off the phone with a good freind of mine from the north shore corvette club.
He is at carlile
He spoke with one of the engineers from gm about the nave static and the mp3 capibilty on the 05 c6 nav systems.
THE ENGINEER SAID THERE ARE 2 UPDATES COMMING IN THE FOLLOWING MONTHS ONE WILL BE FOR THE STATIC FIX AND THE OTHER WILL ADD THE MP3 CAPIBILITY TO OUR 05 NAV UNITS
I know lots of you have been following this for months
just wanted to share the info !!!!!!
Wish i could of went , i will next year !!!!
Also my friend got his pic taken with miss america and the new green kerbeck c6 vert !!!
He said the paint looked good !!!
I will be calling the dealer and the museum on mon to do some more nagging !!!!
