Just purchased 05 corvette. I have open rear up maybe 12 times
weather stripping is torn up around hinge.
rear hatch does not fit worth a crap! Top blew off at 35mph!(roof panel
seperated from frame assembly)
Cheap *** door sill treads are peeling off.
Where is the quality I expected? only 1200 miles!

Another customer who paid 50 plus grand for a car and is dissatisfied with poor GM quality. Instead of blowing sunshine up their backsides, we need to call it like it is. I like these posts and have made many such posts myself. We all need to expect more and when we don't get it, complain. Keep up the fair and balanced reporting__Ed
It helps to determine the cars that may be affected by a particular problem. That's the main reason. The other reason is that, believe it or not, we sometimes get trolls on the forum. Generally, they are brand new members, file a list of complaints, don't post pictures of the supposed problems, don't provide a VIN number to help the other members out and then get defensive if questioned. It's the forums way of validating complaints so we know if we are dealing with real problems and who may be affected by them. Legitimate posters don't get offended, trolls go away.
