Default Simple little interior mod

I was looking at the interior of my coupe (looking towards the back harch area) and thought it looked very bland. The Vert has that nice painted piece that comes down with the emblem, so I went down and picked up an emblem from the Chevy dealer and stuck it right there in the middle (on the plastic right behond where the console opens up.

Looks cool and was a cheap fix to what I saw as a dull area of the coupe interior.

I have pics, but cant post them until I get to work in the morning as I left the upload cable there.

Make sure you use the front emblem it has the correct curve, the rear emblem has the opposite curve.

I thought of this when I ordered the GM cargo organizer from Fichtner. I ordered a front emblem too and will put it on the organizer part that comes down to the console, sort of my version of the convertible waterfall.

I was thinking about this over the weekend. I wonder if there is a way to add something like the waterfall deal that the convertibles have? And then when you have stuff in the back with the top removed it won't be blowing around like crazy?!?!?!?! just thinking...

This was a C5 mod! A lot of us did that for the same reason...

Thanks for bringing back the memory, it looks as good there as it did on the C5!!

I hope you have as many sets of flags on each of these items as some Corvettes have on the inside!

I have 5 flags (steering wheel; 2 floor mats; 2 visor decals; not counting the zillion on the door sills) already in the cabin, one more would make it one too many!

I'm normally not into most of the overdone tack ons that some people throw at their Corvettes in an attempt to be different but that one does look good IMO...how much is that front emblem from the dealer?

Good Mod Harley! now that I have my CF console in, I may just add it. The corvette logo is timeless(regardless of generation), and to me you can't really overdo it....so long as it's tasteful.

We need to hook up again one of these weekends and go get some beers man! ....and maybe chase some women around

Nice mod.
I did that in my previous C5.
I thought about it for my new C6, but in the end I wanted to preserve Dave Hill's idea that the interior be more subdued.
To that end, no mods like this me.
However, I do think it does look good.
