Default panel alignment

Will take delivery on my 06 z51...black and tan.. in Oct. Have seen some posts about panel alignment being off. Can anyone tell what the hot spots are (relative to transition points) to look for as I do the walk around at the dealer......thanks in advance for any input..

The lower rear corners of the doors are sometimes too far inboard, exposing the front lower edges of the rear quarter panels to rock damage. See my forum photos. There's a link under my avatar.

It's not fixed on the 06's or the Z06 and according to the engineers at carlisle it will never be fixed.

The targa top seal problem in your photo's is a windshield installation problem. I had one replaced on mine, and they put it in slightly crooked. One side is pinched, and the other side is loose. I'm making them re-do it, and had them order a new seal also. They also screwed up the lower cowling seal (getting that replaced too).

Just keep in mind that it's a Chevy, and not a Ferrari...as long as you have an engine that screams and she holds the road like a devil -- be happy!
