Default Tire Presure Sensor Question

I'm gonna need some new tires pretty soon and I've heard many good things about the Michelin PS2 and I've made up my mind: no more Goodyear Supercar. I will risk getting a flat by calling AAA for a flatbed. But my question is do I have to change the Tire Presure sensors?...Also will there be any problems with the DIC if I switch to NON Runflats? ... Or will I destroy the Tire Presure Sensors when I get a flat??

I haven't closely looked at the hole for the sensor, but I as long as it sits lower than the edge of the wheel, you would be ok with a flat. It should be fine, the 350Z has the same sensors and doesn't have run-flats.

If you keep the sensors in, which you should anyway, you will keep the DIC happy also.

Just make sure you keep them at their respectives corners. I am running Toyo non run flats on Chamion Motorsport wheels with no problems other than having to go to dealer to reset them since they were NOT the sensors that came with the OEM wheels.
