Has anyone besides me wanted to provide a spot for a medium sized dog in the cargo compartment? I hope to find or construct a compartment for our 45 pound Golden Retriever.http://forums.corvetteforum.com/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=74#
45# for a Golden is kinda small. If your is still a puppy... they get a lot bigger 80-100+ pounds. Ours was a big guy about 108. He would never have been happy in the back of a C6.
Our current Burnese Mountain Dog (110) pounds rides happily in the back of the Trailblazer. He'll never see the C6 unless he needs to go to the vet in a hurry and I'm at work. Even then, I'd probably come home and take him in the TB.

Why would I want to take my ex-wife for a ride in the car while my wife and I are enjoying ourselves???
But seriously man, buy stock in 3M lint removal tape if you decide to take Fido for a ride. I just don't see how you could do it...it might be okay for a short ride, but anything longer than 15- 30 minutes and it is going to get very warm in the back for him/her.
Yes our Golden is small. I sought out a pup that the breeder promised would grow to about 43 pounds. She is an excellent passenger and nearly drove me to a M-3 or CST-V. We will see what we can do for her in the back of a C-6 coupe.
