As I stated in my last post, had the dealership tint the windows. The tint on the back window looks like crap where it covers all the little dots... ...like the tint isn't adhered to the glass. Has anyone figured out how to tint the rear window w/o looking like crap, or am I going to have to remove all this tint?
I had mine done by Superior Window Tint in Las Vegas. Excellent Job.
They wet sanded the matrix dots & anyone who has seen my job says its the best they have seen on a corvette.
Sorry to hear about your disapointment. Window tinting should be done by people who know how to handle the Matrix dots correctly. The rear hatch glass is a real PITA took them 3 hours. Pro's only

If you're lucky, a dealer can do two things (neither of which is tint windows) - they can sell and service cars, and most times you hope you can find one that can do the second decently - the first one you generally accept that it is a matter of how badly you are going to getted screwed. Kinda late now, but for the price, I would find a good local window tinter and start over.
I would like to get my windows tinted, but have reservations about the quality of workmanship. If anyone can recommend someone in PA, shoot me a Private Message. Thanks!
I had the tint put on up to the start of the "dots" and just leave the dots untinted. The shop offered to paint the dot area, but from the outside of the car it's not really noticeable that there's any difference.
Mine doesn't adhere all the way at the top totally due to the dots, but it still looks good and even the GM Rep that saw my car said they did one of the best jobs he's seen.
