Pop-up headlights mean extra weight and extra maintenance, besides acting as airbrakes on a 186-MPH car. In all seriousness, maybe you should get a C5.

Easy now guys.....AlvinCobra 94 wants to dump the "Stang" and become a Corvette owner which is a step in the right direction
The headlight question reminds me of when word of the exposed headlights leaked out about the C6. Purist were saying that Chevy had forgotten the Corvette heritage or they blamed Lutz for trying to make the Corvette look like the Viper. Now that we have had time to adjust to the change most wouldn't want to change it.
I suppose someone could devise a concealed headlight for the C6 but, I'm sure that the cost for replacement would be beyond reason for most of us.
BTW Alvin, I would suggest that you change your screen name for this board. With that one you are going to catch a lot of flack.
What Should I Expect To Pay For A Used 05 6speed ,z51, With About 10k Miles?
It will depend on the options that it has. A bare bones 1SX with Z51 should be less expensive (if you can find one). Cars with
1SA or 1SB options will of course add to the cost as well as navigation,XM, special paint, etc. Car Trader, Ebay, Corvette Forum C6s for sale section, and local papers should give you an idea of pricing.
