Default Jacking a C6

I am trying to jack up my C6 and I can't get my jack under the car to engage the spot the manual say to use to lift the car. Where do these pucks go that I have seen, Do they go into the slots in the rail that are just behind the front tire. This looks like a frame rail that could support the car but I am hesitant to lift there. Can any of you be of help?
Thanks,
Kevin

Yes the pucks insert into the slots in the rails. Some people make a board with 2 2x8 and drive up on that to get clearence for the jack to fit under the jacking points

Thanks, I have boards that I drove up on but my floor jack still has a tight fit, partly because the boards are in the way to reach the jacking points, but I can reach these rails easily, so I will just put a block between the jack and the rail. Thanks again!
