Default Fire Extingusher Mounting

I plan on entering in a Corvette Club track day. I have read the instructions and they make it manditory to have a fire extingusher. Is there a way to mount it without drilling holes:?? Also where is the best place to put it.
Thanks,
Joe

There is a vendor that sells fire extinguishers and brackets. For the life of me, I cannot remember his name, but if you go to the C3 Forum and ask those guys they know him.

The bracket fits on to the seat frame with no drilling. It just screws into the frame. The vendor is extremely good to deal with.

There are a few on the market, I have two types.

One uses bolts to the passenger seat mounting bolts, is not easily removable. You can have that one for free if you are So. Cal.

The other installs/removes in seconds. It grips the passenger seat rails with thumbscrews, and holds very well.

It may be seen at http://www.speeddirect.com/index.aspx?nodeID=57

Got the mount from PFYC and the SCCA required 2.5 lb from Ecklers in Chrome. Mounts onto existing seat bolts.
