CV joint problems.
I just took my C6 in to have the fuel sensor card replaced (2nd time) and when the tech took it out for a test drive and to refuel, he noticed a sound coming from the rear end. After putting it back up on the hoist he discovered that one of the CV joints was noisy and has to be replaced. Has anybody else had this problem or is it just the bad luck I seem to be having with this car. It only has 4000 km. on it. My bad luck includes having the first fuel card replaced and the tech damaging the passenger side rocker lowering it on the hoist which required repair and repaint. When the fuel gauge problem occurred again and I took it to a second shop (because I refuse to deal at the first one) they discovered that the first shop reinstalled the new sensor card and kinked the balance tube between the fuel tanks as well as damaged the left tank which had to be replaced on the second go round. So far, I've had the car in my posession for 4 days out of the last 28. Winters coming too fast for this to be happening.
