It's amazing how far censorship can go. I have no clue about the woody situation and the mods here, but I have seen way too many examples in other forums of moderators banning those they don't like for personal reasons. Banning for anything other than spam, advertising, or aggressive postings is absolutely rediculous.

At that point the members can form their own opinions. If members conclude that the banishment was justified, which I suspect it is because I have not seen the mods act in an arbitrary and capricious manner, then the faith in the system/forum/process will be bolstered.

MONARTOR
while on his 2 week moderation, he decided , of his own free will and against forum rules and user agreement, to register another user name and post under that name. He was caught and suffered.

For the members questioning censorship, here's the rule:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...4&forum_id=109
While we're at it, here's some additional Rules?Guidelines:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=109
Members should read the reply from "Datawiz," and follow his advice to PM a Mod if you have the need to know what happened to a member, or why a thread was locked, etc.
Open threads questioning the actions of the forum/Moderator are inappropriate, and only lead to speculation by the members. If you need clarification on a situtation, go to the source.
Remember, this is a privately own forum. The owner creates the rules for his forum. If members chose to not abide by his rules, then they jeopardize their posting privileges.
If some of you condone inappropriate behavior, support members who violate rules, or don't want to abide by the rules, then you can leave the this forum and find another forum that suits your needs.
Remember, no one forced you into this free forum, nor will anyone restrict you from leaving.
Grumpy has answered the question to this mystery above.
