I talked to my friends that work in the vette group, no one has heard of this yet, atleast the dealer hasn't reported it yet..... they hear of everything eventually... but it may be too soon... but they are very intrested to see if its true as well

What's really gonna suck is the guy that gets an automatic 6 speed car without his paddle shifters

I'm with everyone else. If the car is in at the dealer, why are you waiting another 2-3 weeks to pick it up?

Something doesnt make sense.

Rest assured I will post photo for all as soon as I get them...and... will likely keep the vehicle if this proves to be a harmless anomaly....I'm almost sorry I asked the question...I should have checked under the hood to see if it was equiped with and LS7 in lieu of an LS2.

GM has been known to substitute parts to keep the line running. How many 1SX cars got delivered with power passenger seats because they didn't have manual seats - quite a few if not the majority. Must have been Friday afternoon, someone said "miller time" and the assembly man/woman threw on whatever was closest. Keep it that way with, as someone else said, a letter from the dealer confirming it was delivered this way. Oddities are sometimes what makes a car worth much more in thirty years.

I'd get it fixed, otherwise you might have some trouble selling it in 2-6 years. Potential buyers are gunna wonder. In 30 years these cars will have little, if any value over random garbage.

Hmm...maybe they're running short on 3-spoke steering wheels for MN6 cars.....where's the doughboy when you need him?

Clearly the steering wheel is correct. Have the dealer replace everything else on the car until the wheel functions properly!

That's for 2007. It is the new dual driver/passenger transmission control system. It is particularly useful when wife's ask you to slow down. They can now do it for you.

Yep, Z51 6 speed MANUAL...depressed clutch took it out of gear myself to start it...and hit the paddles while in neutral (nothing)... trust me this is crazy! Call dealer (salesman) to verify:
