This might help a bit.

Repeat after me, warranty...warranty...warranty.

I've gone overboard excessively modding other cars. I've almost always regretted it. Sure, it is fun to do, and it is fun the first couple of times you get to let out all that power, but in the long run it causes more problems, and costs more $$$, than it is worth.

A saying I try to remember is, " When you pull the pin, Mr Hand Grenade is no longer your friend."

I too am struggling with wanting to Mod my car EXTENSIVELY, but I also have almost always regretted it and love my warranty.

Maybe a few well chosen and Warranty friendly (check with your service department) mods to start.

I really want to do Heads, Cam, and a Tune (440rwhp+) or a Procharger (490rwhp+) - but I have personally seen what a blower can do to a STOCK shortblock.

Maybe a wise start would be Haltech Air Intake and Headers first.
Sometimes headerrs will only void the exhaust part of your warranty if anything.
I have seen 6 speed cars make over 370rwhp+ with these limited mods.

Later on after this it would be easy and beneficial to do Heads and Cam if so inclined (440rwhp+) after losing at the track to a new Z06 and wanting a rematch.

I usually like to do mods that are easily removed in case of a problem, some blowers fall under this category, Nitrous which I have never used, bolt-ons, etc....

Another thought I had was Haltech intake, Headers, Ported and Poilshed worked over stock heads (no cam) and a TUNE. I'll bet it would be good for 400rwhp easily on a 6 speed car and 11 second 1/4 miles.

Chances are, if anything went wrong during the warranty period, it ould not be due to these mods and except for the headers - either warranty friendly or unnoticeable to a service department.

The Mod bug is contagious and spreads quickly, it is also very hard to cure once you get it.

With all that said, What should I do first?

400 RWHP is fine with me also j/k

It is all relative, my 2000 Blown GT had 385rwhp, my Viper had about 420rwhp, my Cobra 445rwhp, and my 92 Stang had 461rwhp - so my current 320-340rwhp cars feel tame in comparison, but not slow by any means.

I think with the lightweight C6, 400rwhp would be nice which = 380rwhp in the automatic.
