Default Clear Bra

Hello,

I am new to the board and should receive my new 2006 DSOM coupe the first week of November. I live in Escondido, CA (San Diego County) and am interested in having the clear bra installed when my vette arrives. Would appreciate recommendations for retailers and installers in my area (I have read some of the installation horror stories)

Thanks,

Mitchels

Contact Sean at http://www.ultimateautocare.com/ultimate_shield.htm

He is based in Yorba Linda and installs 3M and Venture Shield, clients choice.

All pieces are cut from software templates in advance, so no tools but a squeegee touch your car.

He replies to emails by the next day, in my experience.

He did my MY C6 in March, and redid a partial after I got ambushed by a renegade deer and had my left front quarterpanel, headlight and door replaced.

His prices are fair and his work is quality.

Give Sean a call at Ultimate Auto Care -- he is failry close to you and does good work. I had my Le Mans Blue C6 done there with 3M film and I'm very pleased with the results.

Hey Mitch,
I live here in San Diego and I had my Velocity Yellow Convertible done by Modern Image in Mira Mesa. They did a great job on mine and they use 3M laser cut film. I have since put Meguiar's NXT on mine and it is holding up well. Hardly noticeable unless you really look. The piece they put on the headlamp assembly is a little thicker mil for extra protection. Talk to Enrico at Modern Image and tell him Sonny sent you (then run !!!!, just kidding), they're great.

You can also try the place that did my cars. They are 3M authorized and can probably recommend someone in your area. Click here
