C6 Side Mirrors Problem

I thought I saw a thread about this problem. My side mirrors point down after going into reverse and I have to manually reset them. The memory function will not place them back either. This is on a 06 with A6. Called dealer and they said they may have to re-flash computers. Any help on this??
