Default Cat Back Poll

Now that the C6 is a year old, I was wondering how many forum members are replacing the exhaust. Please answer only if you own a C6; don't just speculate if you don't own one, as I'd like to get an accurate representation of who's done this mod after driving it for a while.

I'm leaning towards the corsa sport, I like the exotic sound. My neighbor has them with the LG tubes and the car screams.

Stock sound's good to me. No drone, neighbor's don't complain and it is cheaper.

Allready did catbacks, 14336 Magnaflow mufflers w/Magnaflow tips welded to the stock pipes. $350.00 installed. You guys paying $1400+ for 10 feet of pipe and 2 mufflers w/tips + installation are keeping the economy expanding, thank you.

My intake and exhaust are both done, Supermaxx headers w/cats, the catbacks and Lingenfelter CAI. 378.6 HP and 370.5 TQ. If the HP tune ever gets to the market it'll be my last mod.

Actually, this whole "drone" thing scares me. I can't imagine driving on a 400 mile road trip with constant hum resonating through my brain. Yes, it would be cool to drive down Woodward Avenue during the Annual Dream Cruise with Corsa Sports (or something similar). But that one long road trip with the dreaded drone would do me in!

The stock system could be a little quieter, but I can live with it.

Corsa sports, no drone that I can hear. Most of my driving is done top down.

I plan on changing them with something. I don't want REALLY LOUD, so I need to do some listening around before I decide. I really want the equivalent of the Z06 Titaniums I had on my C5. Anything like that available? Of course the Mrs. has the purse locked up tight right now. Too soon for expensive mods...

I'd sooner keep the stock cat back and put that cash towards a set of Kooks long tubes with (or without) high flow cats...improved horsepower/torque AND sound for not that much more money than a good cat back which yields no notable power gains (though some do sound GREAT) anyway.

Going on my 4th cat back as I haven't found the right exhaust note as of yet
1) Stock Much too mellow for a 400hp sports car
2) Corsa Quad Sports Only marginally better thank stock
3) B&B Route 66 Close but no cigar
4) B&B Bullets I'm hoping this is it

GHL's for me! Very happy with them...60's muscle car sound. Only slight drone, with a great throaty growl!

65% changed / changing it. Probably a biased group, but that's a lot!
