My 2006 is on order and my wife and I enjoy (long) road trips. I'd appreciate tips from those of you who do a lot of traveling in your Vettes on good ways to pack, organize, etc. given the limited space including helpful accessories. Thanks.

Only use soft luggage and pack lightly, leave enough room for approved Corvette wash/polish materials to keep your ride nice and shiny for the benefit of onlookers. Radar detector if you're inclined to speed at all and constantly scan in your mirrors for the local LEO's. The only problem I had in that regard was on the Will Rogers Turnpike in OK.
The C6 is the best traveling car I have ever traveled Xcountry in.

Have a blast.
A soft sided cooler comes in handy. If your going to hit some local car shows a couple of folding chairs.(read the local paper, or check with car people that you meet. A good camera (digital)
I have a Vert and top is normaly down, so you should have room.

It's a great trip car. 2 26" suitcases and two sets of golf clubs consolidated down to one carry bag and a roll up bag. Also one small cooler. 27.8 mpg through the hills of West Virginia from Maryland to Bowling Green, man what a nice trip. Have taken several smaller road trips this year, I can't believe how good it is. Now that the gas gauge and the top are fixed I'm looking forward to some day trips, maybe the North end of Skyline Drive in Virginia and Gettysburg. I like my Explorer but love the C6 for trips--Enjoy--Ed
Oh yea, I forgot, some Zaino(or any other car wash)mixed with water in a spray bottle and some microfiber towels and windex in one of the rear storage compartments. I used a quarter spray car wash in Bowling green and dried with the microfiber towels. A quick but effective wash up. I even used the brush at the car wash, no scratches, the C6 won't melt, enjoy it.

I've done 2 long trips of over 13,000 miles and a couple months travel time plus several shorter trips. Never lacked for room. As you're never in one place for very long, so many changes of clothes aren't really necessary. You're not trying to be a fashion show.
No one really knows if you wore that shirt or pair of pants yesterday. Carried enough underwear to last a week and then looked for a stop over to do the laundry.
Had soft luggage, 1 for me and 1 for her plus our diddy bags for toothbrushe, etc.Still had room for a small cooler for cold drinks and a soft carry bag for snacks.
Good camera is a must.
Shopped until space was an issue than boxed and sent home to a neighbor to hold until we returned home.
Love doing the long road trips. Hope for many more.
