Obi ???

Is the Sunday morning OBI meet still On ? Looks like a decent tomorrow...What about Friday nights in Bellmore ???

OBI was a lake last week and they are starting construction. We now meet at Captree about 1 1/2 miles further east at the end of Ocean Pkwy. Bellmore is still going on friday nights.

Newsday = "officials announced that construction would begin on a multimillion-dollar public park slated for the former Oak Beach Inn property "

I think the lot will still be around it just may be much nicer now

Thanks Pipe. Neat. As long as the lot stays I guess we're ok. Captree is ok too, but isn't there a steep entrance fee in the summer? Or I guess as long as we get there super early in the morning we'd beat the fee, right?

You also would have remembered the "Get out of New York State before it's too late!" campaign as well, which I believe was started by the OBI guy. I don't know the details, but I guess the OBI guy was having some state law or tax issues... apparently he lost the battle.
