I build 1/24 and 1/25 scale plastic Corvette models in the winter while snowed in here in MI. But just lately, I've found diecasts. I find the most fun is trying to find the ones you want.
1st it was one of each generation. Then the pace cars. Then as many of the years that I could find in red convertibles. Sort of a "All Corvettes are Red showcase!" I have found many out of production or limited production numbers limit my search.
I found a site that lists all the diecasts by manufacturer. That tells me what is and was available.
Models are fun. Fed Ex and UPS know the way to my house.
Christmas all year round.
