I searched GMPartsDirect.com to find a new Navigation Data disk. The part number that has been sited on this forum did not appear in their database . . . so I sent them an email explaining what I wanted. They replied that part number 10381886 has been replaced with part number 15779679. They apologized for not having updated their database. I was then able to order the new part. The listed GM price was, as noted elsewhere on the forum, $293.42, but the GMPartsDirect price was only $146.71 plus S&H. Total came to $178.99. The only problem is that the part is NOT returnable, so if it turns out that what I get is still version 1, and only the part number has been changed to protect the innocent, then I'll be stuck, but if it turns out that it is actually an updated version, they the price is certainly reasonable. I'll post an update as soon as I get the part.

Be very carefull with GMPD, they seem to have good prices but their shipping is often way too high. And yes, if you have a problem with any part from them, they are harder to reach than the Pope.
Do yourself a favor and check with one of our other forum vendors!
Juvat,
That parts number is the disc that came with my '06 that I picked up at the NCM 3 weeks ago.
There is a road on it that only opened up about 6 months ago. So it's probably pretty recent.
Good luck!
BTW I'm x USAF but I forget, what's the call when you pickle off an AGM?

I had a early 05 with Nav and it had Version 1, I now have a 06 with Nav and it's Version 2 (I also understand late 05's had Version 2). Anyway I do not see big changes in the map base, I assume there are some also adds and deletes from the POI's. The update to get MP3 and FM problems cleared up will be done at the dealer in the coming months and not via a map update. Basically depending on your use I would not update for that price, more than likely Version 3 next year would be a little more desirable than V2 and provide differences you can actually see.

Yeah,
I remember Fox 1 as a radar missile, Fox 2 as a IR missile, Fox 3 as a Gun ( and Fox 4 as ramming ). Just don't remember if there's a Fox call for a AGM launch.
You see, I call my car the Shrike, and want to customise the DIC to call a Shrike launch.

Right, but Fox 1 is a radar missile, Fox 2 is a heat seeker, Fox 3 is the gun. I don't remember if there was a Fox 4 call or not, and I also don't remember which, if any, applied to the AGM.

Ooops; I apologize for repeating a response already given. Guess I should have read all the posts before posting my response.
Thanks,
I couldn't find that anywhere I looked.

Upon further research, the correct call is Shotgun ( for the Shrike),
Rifle is for the AGM 65 which is optically guided.
Just to be accurate( C.E.P <30M)
